Is there anything that you miss from Boston? Fall in Boston is the best.

Hey there! Sorry I haven't logged in for a while. To be honest, I miss the food the most. Haven't found a place in OC that has clam chowders as the ones in Boston! And yes Fall in Boston is so pretty, especially if you are driving to NH. you can see the color changing trees along the way.

It was an exhibit in OCMA in Costa Mesa a couple months back. I love how warm the color is and the symmetric snakes, a warm but strong feeling. I feel like that's me, a warm, kind-hearted while fearless/tenacious one.

No worries. Funny you say that, I miss the Italian Food / Pizza that you can get in the North End or Worcester. Miss me some Cannoli from Mike's or Modern Pasty. Went to Vermont two falls ago, the drive was so pretty. However, I couldn't do another winter out there.

Haha without you mentioning about these, I didn't even recall any of these. I do remember so many boutique coffee shops and bars in the south end. The St. Patriots day celebration there as well. Trust me I couldn't either. Haven't had any reason to g back there thank god.

Hi! I’m in the same boat as you in terms of working from home and having a hard time meeting new people. Would love to connect!

I recently read a book called The Courage to be Disliked and it went into detail about how all problems are interpersonal problems. The book was really fascinating but I find it also very difficult to put what I learned into everyday life.

Hey, I totally feel that on remote work—it definitely makes it harder to meet new people and build connections. I’d love to connect! I’m a 32-year-old in Irvine, living with my girlfriend, and also working remotely. Also, I’d be down for a museum tour as well—always a fun way to explore and have good conversations!

For anyone working remotely, when I lived in Portland, I would meet up every week (sometimes every day) with some WFH people at various spots and that would really help us feel connected and like we had coworkers in real life. A lot of it was just silent work interrupted by random chats and coffee breaks, but also made some great friends. If anyone would be interested in something like that, let me know! I’ve been remote a long while and haven’t had that since I moved here and miss it.

@Kelsey2323 I'm interested!! I've been planning to organize something with ATC in this spirit soon. Just waiting on a spot I will be available soon to open up. Let me know if you have any details in mind, and want to invite the community to join!

As someone that works from home two days a week. Having a cat that gets the zoomies at random times in the day makes my shifts go by faster 😺
