Where are you at in your life stage?
34f. I'm at a stage where I'm constantly growing and evolving. As a single mom of two and someone passionate about my job in public service, I'm focused on becoming the best version of myself. I'm learning to balance work, motherhood, and personal development while taking my health and well-being more seriously.
How's your life?
Life is busy, but I'm handling it. Between work, managing the household, and being a mom, it can get overwhelming, but I'm dedicated to staying productive and finding ways to improve. I'm eating well, getting enough sleep, and focusing on my health. I’m also trying to make time for creative outlets, even though it can be tough with my schedule.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Yoga, nature walks, and exercise help me stay grounded. I also love diving into graphic novels or dark fiction. Taking care of my health and making more time for art has been my priority recently.
What is most important to you right now?
Right now, my kids, my job, and my personal growth are at the forefront. I'm committed to improving my health, being more productive, and finding positive environments where I can thrive and possibly make friends. Expanding my horizons and learning new things are also really important to me.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I’ve recently been really interested in exploring my area more and finding fun, free resources for creative outlets. I’ve lived here all my life, but there’s still so much I haven’t experienced, and I’m excited to try new things and get back into artistic hobbies.

Where are you at in your life stage?
Figuring out how to be an adult. I'm 35 years old, have a good career, and have many friends (although they are mostly far away!). But other than these, I feel like I'm just figuring life out.
How's your life?
I'm happy with my life.
It's primarily peaceful. I like the routine of working, gym time, and home. Work makes it exciting. When I travel, I get to go on adventures.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Workout, right now I'm going rock climbing regularly. I like watching TV shows and going out to restaurants.
What is most important to you right now?
My career. It's my passion, and I want to do my best. I also want to figure out how to better adult. How to be more financially responsible, how to eat healthier, etc.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I'm trying to watch more movies and get back to reading. I'm also learning about meditation and mindfulness.

I’ve been trying to get into meditation and it’s quite difficult to calm the chatter in my mind. The app Calm has a 30 day challenge that really helps! Turning mid 30s is really kicking my butt into high gear about being better overall.

Where are you at in your life stage?
Living the SINK life: single income no kids. :) Very happily in a LDR though it means I feel more single than coupled on a day-to-day basis. Pretty happy with my work as well; it keeps me busy and I don't hate it. I work remotely (amazing commute from the bed to the desk!) and sooommmeettimmmeesss.... I wish I had an office to go into. I miss having random conversations in the kitchen or taking walks for morning coffee or to refresh in the afternoon.
Socially I'm looking to get out there a bit more. Right now probably just looking for some casual friends to spend some time and/or try new experiences with. (If we become besties super cool! If not no pressure. I've learned everyone's path goes their own way and just enjoy the time together.)
How's your life?
Life is going okay. Work is interesting but not keeping me fully occupied so I'm looking for some more! Recently-ish (everything is only 3 months in this post-covid world! or maybe I'm just growing old...) moved down from the Bay Area to be closer to family but I unfortunately left all my friends behind. Plus I'm a homebody and an introvert so it's been hard to make friends. I swing between being lonely and wanting to be ALL THE SOCIALS and being content rolling around the couch. (Couch potatoes unite!)
What helps you keep your sanity?
Playing games and drinking boba! I play one computer game (guildwars 2) and I just turn my brain off as I mindlessly hit buttons. Sometimes I even accomplish something! Otherwise I'm fortunate to have some close friends who will listen to me blah blah blah when things are getting too much. They laugh at my misfortunes; I get emotional release: wins all around! (Don't worry! I won't blah blah on you until we're good friends! I'm an introvert until we're good friends.. then it's hard to shut me up. >:) )
Also boba. When things are good: celebrate with boba. When things are bad: cheer up by drinking boba! Boba solves all. (Welcoming all boba recommendations! I tend to prefer the simple: milk tea or fruit tea and boba.)
What is most important to you right now?
Enjoying my life! I hope to have a family in the future but children are a BIG responsibility. I'll just enjoy my freedom now while I still can! Also looking to set down more roots in OC and make some friends. It'd be great to hang out once every 2-3 weeks and do something new/interesting/fun. (Or we could.. just grab some boba, chit chat, and go for walks? I could probably swing that once a week... I have a very limited social meter that just got shorter over the pandemic!)
Oh.. and maybe becoming more healthy.... maybe... can someone please gift me some motivation? :(
Anything you recently found interesting?
Escape Games: I know they've been around forever but they're reallllyyy so fun! I'm always down for an escape game.
More a shower thought but: The nicer the house/apartment/etc. the more people tend to stay at home and thus build less connections. In contrast if your house/apartment sucks you just always want to go out and then you meet more people! Such a weird aftereffect of prosperity??

Recently went to a very nice Vietnamese-owned boba shop called Mirakuru! They’re always changing up the interior decorations & their custom boba cup sleeves~ Plus, their sweetness levels feel actually accurate (not super sweet). Highly recommend :)

Hey girly! I'm not a fan of boba but I get the drinks without boba, lol. I'd love to grab a drink sometime together and go for a hike/walk if you're interested :-)

Where are you at in your life stage?
Currently I’m in my traveling era. I’ve lived in 5 states in the last 2 years. I’m also currently in my self discovery stage and exploring my deeper understanding of myself.
How's your life?
My life is pretty solid. I’ve regained a lot of hobbies I’ve lost since I moved to OC. I currently enjoy morning surf sessions and skateboarding at the Vans skatepark.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Honestly, reading. If it’s not reading I really love to go surfing. Just being in the water. Even if I don’t catch any good waves. Helps tremendously with my well being and keeps me sane. Connecting with nature is so important to me.
What is most important to you right now?
My dog bandit. He is my whole world and brings endless smiles. Even though he loves to poop at very inconvenient times.
Anything you recently found interesting?
That there are actually more kangaroos in Australia than there are people. I find these sort of random facts so cool!

Where are you at in your life stage?
In my late 20s (M) and have a promising career and a good paying job. My work isn't my entire life but its engaging and I get moderate amounts of satisfaction from it.
A lot of changes have come my way in the last two years as I got out of a long term relationship with someone that I had met when I was 20 years old.
Although, I have been in California for 5 years, due to various factors, i have been unsuccessful in feeling a sense of belonging here.
At this point in my life, i am trying to re-prioritize certain things in my life and look at life from a new lens.
How's your life?
Life is a little hard right now since I got out of a long term serious relationship. I am going through the motions of grief and realization. I am trying to keep my head up and move forward in the hopes that I don't make the same mistakes that I made which costed me to lose this relationship.
Otherwise, I feel lucky to have family (far away) to talk to. Some friends (surface level) to spend time with. Life could be a lot harder without the things that I do have and I am grateful for it.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I am a physically active person. I like to bike, ski, workout and travel. I have recently got into reading books. I enjoy cooking and having people over for dinner!
What is most important to you right now?
The most important thing for me right now is to learn to appreciate people for who they are. See the best in everyone and not take anything for granted. Avoid pushing people away and be a better friend, son, brother, and eventually a life partner to someone (whenever that happens)
Anything you recently found interesting?
Recently i figured out how to float/swim in deep water! (I know, shocking!). It kind of blew my mind that it was as easy as it was. I had always been deathly afraid of water and made myself believe that I could never swim until I gave it a real shot!

What brings you joy?
The source of joy for me is heavily tied to creating/fixing things. I feel a major sense of accomplishment/validation whenever I create and/or fix something (whether that be cooking something up, fixing a part on my car, or debugging a critical issue) and this is a main motivator for my career choices (but probably a bit of a hindrance to my personal life lol)

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’ve been working for a few years post college. I’m not sure where I see myself (career wise) in the future and my current goal is to figure out what I want out of life. The essence of this stage in my life is to try throwing stuff at a (proverbial) wall and see what sticks.
How's your life?
My life is pretty good - I have a cat, long term partner, exciting new job. The main thing that’s been missing in my life is new friends/friendships. I grew a lot more introverted during the pandemic and I’m looking to break out of that shell/be more receptive to making new friendships (bonus if they love/have cats)
What helps you keep your sanity?
My partner, family, and college friends all keep me grounded/make me feel like less of a hermit. I definitely need/want to get out of the house more but it’s hard to escape the comfort of a daily routine.
I want to start pursuing my hobbies again (skiing in the winter/backpacking/hiking/biking during all other seasons) and am looking to get into archery. I don’t mind spending time indoors but due to the nature of my job, my ideal 5-9 would be outdoor related, away from a screen.
What is most important to you right now?
Developing a stronger relationship with my family and long distance partner (and keeping my cat entertained) is definitely at the top of my list currently.
The other aspects of my life I’m looking to develop/grow in are: creating new friendships and finding a new daily routine that keeps me active and off the couch after work. (Also looking to join any groups that play mj)
Anything you recently found interesting?
I recently learned quite a bit of the inner workings of my shower plumbing (I love to tinker with things and learn how stuff works).
There lives a cartridge in the shower handle that controls the temp of the water by allowing a different mixture of hot/cold water (depending on the way the handle is turned) which enters the cartridge through 2 holes (hot/cold). Apparently, the hard water deposits can turn the rubber gaskets on the shower cartridge brittle and disrupt the flow of the water. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way when I first moved in :’).

Where are you at in your life stage?
I'm a lesbian in my early 20s. I graduated college last year and I'm studying for law school. I'm coming to terms with being diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses, which is bittersweet. Consequently, this means that I'm unable to work for now. I love to read, sew, thrift, go to concerts, go on adventures, and go to museums/artsy events.
How's your life?
There are ups and downs. I'm grieving a friend who is losing her battle to brain cancer. I'm also dealing with my own health problems. However, I feel largely at peace with where I'm at. I try to focus on the present moment. Now, I'm at a point where I want to connect with others and build more friendships. Message me if you'd be willing to teach me the ropes of rock climbing! I've always wanted to learn.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Mainly: my cat, Chai. Other things that help me keep my sanity are reading, going to the beach, connecting with my loved ones, baking, and making coffee (I'm a former barista)
What is most important to you right now?
My health can take center stage these days. Otherwise, what's important to me is being kind to those around me, including myself
Anything you recently found interesting?
I recently learned about the indigenous city of Cahokia. I also love to watch deep sea and space documentaries. I've fallen into a bit of YouTube niche of cave diving videos... despite how much it terrifies me, I'd love to try scuba diving some day.
